Customer Service counter includes a remote surveillance station operated
by Security at Place Desjardins Inc.
Whereas the central security station is located at the Place level,
south side near the grocery store. |
Mandate

The
protection and prevention services offered to clients and tenants
are organized so as to make life easier for them and make operations
more efficient. Security also oversees the safety of people who work
or visit complexe Desjardins. |
Remote
surveillance
| |
Complexe Desjardins uses a modern remote surveillance system with
100 color cameras, including 16 which are equipped with movement sensors
in the basements. This system can record for 31 consecutive days and
can house up to, 1000 cameras. |
Prevention
policy
| |
The
Security department focuses on prevention and patrols all complexe
Desjardins facilities on a regular basis. The department also provides
safety tips and information about crimes in a monthly newsletter entitled
"Info-Securité", in order to make tenants and clients
aware of basic security and prevention rules. |
