An artistic pathway invites you to rediscover the neighbourhood through art.

CRÉER DES PONTS is a major initiative by the organization Art Souterrain, in partnership with the Ville de Montréal, that offers emerging artists a studio for 3 months at the heart of the city’s downtown core.

Ten glass exhibition cubes, located throughout the island, will house exciting contemporary works of art. These unique semitransparent boxes invite the public to walk around them to discover the artwork.

Complexe Desjardins’s visitors will be able to view a work by Myriam Simard-Parent on the esplanade of its Sainte-Catherine Street entrance.

With a naive sensibility, the artist creates autonomous or performative objects primarily from wood or metal. Certain of her works will be arranged inside the cube to form an installation similar to a sculptural still life.
